Will Humphreys

Will is the founder of the Healthcare Business Academy. He is a serial entrepreneur, health care provider, speaker, and author. At 17, he fell off of a mountain breaking both arms and legs. His exposure to the medical field led him to becoming a physical therapist. Later, he became a private practice owner and built a company to multiple locations prior to exiting at 3 times the national average. Today, he teaches others the lessons he learned from decades of practice and hundreds of interviews, hires, and fires. His greatest joy is his wife of 20 years and four sons.

Michelle Bambenek
CEO / Lead Coach

Meet Michelle Bambenek, a dedicated Physical Therapist serving the Phoenix, Arizona region since 2007. Michelle's rise to leadership commenced soon after her graduation . Within a year she embraced the role of Clinical Director for an outpatient orthopedic and aquatics facility, leading her first PT team. This initial step laid the foundation for a remarkable career trajectory fueled by her unwavering commitment to leadership growth and development, both for herself and her fellow professionals in the field.

In 2011, Michelle joined the ranks of what would ultimately evolve into Rise Rehabilitation Specialists. As a Partner within Rise Rehab, she played a vital role in the leadership team, collectively charting a course not only toward unprecedented company profits but also fostering a culture of camaraderie and high morale. Following a merger with Empower Physical Therapy in 2018, Michelle continued her impactful journey as the Regional Vice President of Operations. Her adept leadership guided the daily operations of ten clinics, a role she gracefully navigated until the fall of 2020.

Michelle's passion for physical therapy and comprehensive healthcare is matched only by her boundless energy and relentless dedication to empowering individuals and teams. This dedication naturally paved the way for her transition into the arenas of leadership coaching and consulting. Her influence and impact reaches across various domains within the PT field, spanning a diverse range of roles. She finds immense joy and satisfaction from witnessing others unlock their gifts, and fully embrace and achieve their potential.

Scott Fritz
Business Coach

In 2010 Scott authored The 40 Hour Work YEAR | 40hourworkyear.com. Using his book as a platform, Mr. Fritz facilitates workshops and is a keynote speaker for dozens of entrepreneurial and business groups each year.

Scott founded Growth Connect | growthconnect.com in 2008. By leveraging business coaching and exit planning services, Growth Connect specializes in transforming businesses into assets. Since 2008 Scott has facilitated over 600 strategic focus sessions.
 As an active Angel Investor since 2001, Mr. Fritz has invested in over fifty separate ventures. His involvement with these companies ranges from passive investor to business coach and advisory board member.   Mr. Fritz founded Human Capital in 1997. He grew the company into a nationwide player with 2007 annual revenues of $170 million dollars. This hyper growth landed Human Capital and its affiliate division on the INC. 500 list in 2003 and 2004 with growth rates in excess of 1,000 percent. Human Capital was sold to a nationwide staffing firm in 2007.  In addition to his various business pursuits, Scott held multiple volunteer positions within the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) between 2001 and 2015. Mr. Fritz is also an EO Certified Facilitator which allows him to pursue his passion of working with leading entrepreneurs in the areas of strategy, sales, leadership, people, and finance.

Hailing from a background steeped in a robust work ethic, Katie's unyielding dedication fuels her mission to ensure that every dollar rightfully owed to PT owners finds its way into their pockets.

With an unwavering belief in the power of transparency, Katie is committed to empowering PT owners, granting them the freedom to focus wholeheartedly on what truly matters - providing exceptional patient care. Her leadership prowess shines brightly as she not only spearheads her team but also cultivates greatness in every interaction with customers.
